FlyDirect Pop-Up Holiday Shop landing soon at Guernsey Airport

FlyDirect Pop-up Holiday Shop

Travellers looking to plan their next getaway will have the opportunity to speak directly with the FlyDirect Holidays team when they host a Pop-Up Holiday Shop at Guernsey Airport next month.

Taking place on Sunday 4 October from 10am to 4pm, the pop-up shop will be located on the first floor of the terminal building, next to the café, giving islanders the chance to discuss upcoming holiday options, ask questions and explore destinations available from Guernsey.

Whether you're considering an autumn break to the Costa del Sol, seeking winter sunshine in Tenerife, or already planning a summer escape for 2027, the FlyDirect team will be on hand to help.

David Buddery, Head of Commercial and Business Development at Guernsey Ports, said:
 
"We’re delighted to continue supporting Fly Direct as they launch their pop-up agency at Guernsey Airport, following closely on the heels of their 2027 schedule release. It gives local passengers a great chance to chat directly with the operator about winter sun getaways or future plans. Plus, with Fly Direct joining 30 other travel exhibitors at our Travel Showcase this January, islanders have plenty of exciting options to explore."

The event comes shortly after FlyDirect Holidays launched its Summer 2027 programme, featuring a brand-new destination for the operator: Sardinia.

The beautiful Italian island will be served directly from Guernsey during August and September 2027, marking the first time FlyDirect has offered flights to Sardinia. The new route expands the operator's portfolio of leisure destinations and provides local travellers with another direct gateway to the Mediterranean.
 

Alongside Sardinia, FlyDirect's Summer 2027 programme includes a range of returning seasonal favourites:

  • Majorca (May to September)
  • Ibiza (May to August)
  • Algarve (August to September)
  • Costa del Sol (October)
  • Sardinia (August to September)

Together, the routes offer direct access from Guernsey to some of Europe's most popular holiday destinations, from the beaches of the Mediterranean to Portugal's Atlantic coast.

All services will once again be operated by BA Cityflyer aboard Embraer E190 jet aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

 
Visitors are welcome to drop in throughout the day to browse destinations, discuss holiday plans and find out more about FlyDirect's winter and summer programmes.
