Guernsey Airport Check-In area

The check-in areas are located at the left or western end of the landside concourse and are clearly signed within the terminal. If you have already checked in online and only have hand baggage you may go directly through security to the departure lounge.

When to arrive

Check your ticket or contact your airline for advice on checking-in times.

At check-in

To save time, have your tickets and identification ready (passport, driving licence or citizen card), and make sure your hand baggage contains only valuables and items you will need during the journey.

Online check-in

Lots of airlines offer online check-in from two to 24 hours before departure. You will be able to choose your seat or print your boarding card from your computer or mobile device – and when you get to the airport, simply take your baggage to the bag drop facility. Some airlines will also offer check-in and ticketing through their own mobile app for smart devices availible on the app stores for Android and iOS.

Hand luggage

We recommend that you check the maximum size and quantity of hand luggage items allowed with your airline, prior to your departure.

Security and boarding

There's plenty to do in the departure lounge, from duty free shopping, the cafe/restaurant and bar, or just relax in the lounge. There's also free Wi-Fi and a TV available. We recommend you go directly through security after check-in and into the departures lounge. Information screens in the departures lounge show flights, boarding times, and gate numbers. Boarding times can vary, but usually begin around 20 minutes before departure.

If passengers need special assistance please book this when buying your ticket with your airline, with a recommended notice period of 48 or 72 hours prior to departure.
