Guernsey’s inaugural ‘Travel Showcase’ set to land this weekend
5th January 2026Final preparations are taking place for Guernsey’s inaugural ‘Travel Showcase’ this weekend.
The event will be held at Guernsey Airport on Sunday 11 January, from 10:00 to 17:00, with free admission and free parking for all visitors.
25 businesses are scheduled to attend, including representatives from Aurigny, Brittany Ferries, Heathrow Airport and tourism boards for Alderney and Sark.
Tour operators such as FlyDirect will be attending, as will various travel agencies and holidaymakers.
Staff from Guernsey Ports, who are organising the event, will be present, along with assisted travel provider ABM, on-site car hire companies Sixt and Hertz, and Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen, which will be providing some complimentary buffet-style refreshments.
“We are delighted to have such a diverse range of businesses attending the event,” said David Buddery, Commercial Development Manager for Guernsey Ports.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for islanders to speak directly to travel providers, discover where they can travel from Guernsey in 2026, and secure exclusive offers and discounts towards their next trip.
“We have kept the event free of charge for exhibitors and islanders because we want to showcase what is available to as many people as possible. We think there is something here for everyone – whether you are planning a short, low-cost break or a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The Travel Showcase is designed primarily for Guernsey-based travellers, offering a convenient one-stop event for those planning their next trip in 2026.
