Family Facilities

Family Facilities
Travelling with children should be an enjoyable experience, and Guernsey Airport is committed to making family journeys as smooth, comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Soft Play Area

Families can now enjoy our dedicated aviation-themed soft play area, located in the upstairs landside café. Designed for children aged up to four years old, the play zone provides a safe, welcoming and engaging space where little ones can play.

Best of all, it's open to all island families, so you don't need a boarding pass to enjoy it. Whether you're travelling or just paying us a flying visit, you're welcome to come and play.

Family-Friendly Food and Refreshments

Our partner, Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen, offers a children's menu and party food options, alongside a wide selection of locally produced food and refreshments across the terminal. Whether you're stopping for a coffee in the upstairs café, picking up a freshly baked treat from Blue Chicken House Bakery, or enjoying a meal before your journey, the airport offers a range of family-friendly dining options.

Designed with Customer Feedback in Mind

The soft play area and other family-focused improvements have been introduced following feedback from passengers, visitors and staff. These enhancements form part of our ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience across the airport.

Getting Around the Airport

The car parks, bus stop and taxi rank are all located immediately outside the terminal, making access simple and convenient for families travelling with young children.

Baby changing facilities and toilets are available both before security (landside) and after security (airside), and free WiFi is available throughout the terminal to help keep children and families connected and entertained.

Travelling with Babies

When travelling with a baby, you can carry enough baby food, baby milk and sterilised water for your journey, even if individual containers exceed 100ml.

You can also carry breast milk in your hand luggage, even if you are not travelling with a baby. Breast milk must not be frozen, and individual containers must hold no more than 2,000ml. All containers will be screened at security and may need to be opened for inspection by security staff.
